Report on the Preliminary Meeting of Anti-Narcotic Cell
The preliminary meeting of the Anti-Narcotic Cell was held on 23rd August at the college under the guidance of Assistant Professor Reni, Teacher-in-Charge. The meeting was convened with the objective of planning the activities for the academic year and creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
During the session, student representatives were selected for the Cell. Sreeram E M (Sanskrit option) and Aswarya K Suresh (Hindi option) were chosen as the student representatives. The meeting also discussed and finalized the future action plan. It was decided to organize an awareness class by the Excise Department, aimed at sensitizing students about the dangers of narcotics and the importance of a drug-free campus.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment from both teachers and students to work actively towards promoting a healthy and responsible academic environment.
