ONAM 2K25
The Onam celebration at Adi Shankara Training College was held on 26th August 2025 with great joy and enthusiasm. The programme began with a colourful procession and Chenda Melam that proceeded till the Engineering College junction, attracting the attention of all.
The cultural events started with Onappattu, which filled the atmosphere with festive cheer, followed by a lively group dance performance by the students. The highlight of the day was the Malayali Manka and Kerala Sreeman competitions, conducted in two rounds, where the participants showcased their elegance and traditional spirit.
A grand Onam Sadhya was served, and it turned out to be a delicious and memorable feast for everyone. The afternoon session was filled with traditional games such as Uriyadi, Vadam Vali and many others, which brought excitement and joy to both participants and spectators.
The celebration beautifully reflected the essence of Onam — togetherness, cultural pride, and happiness. It was a day cherished by the entire college community.
