Independence day Quiz Report
As part of the Independence Day celebrations, the Physical Science Club “SciVerse” organized a quiz competition named “Viduthalai” with the aim of fostering knowledge, teamwork, and a spirit of healthy competition among students. The event was held on 14th August 2025 and saw enthusiastic participation from teams across various departments.
The quiz was designed as a five-level contest, covering a wide range of topics including Indian history, sports, current affairs, literature, and general knowledge. Each team consisted of three members, representing different departments of the school. The rounds were keenly contested, with every team showing remarkable preparation and confidence.
After a highly competitive set of rounds, the team from Social Science emerged as the winners of the first prize. The team members were Meenu Benny, Navaneeth M S, and Anjana Sadhanandhan, who showcased excellent teamwork and presence of mind throughout the competition. The second prize was secured by the team from Sanskrit, comprising +commendable effort and strong performance.
The winners were honored during the Independence Day assembly on 15th August 2025, where the prizes were distributed in the presence of teachers, students, and the school community. The event concluded with great appreciation from both the participants and the audience, marking “Viduthalai” as a memorable and inspiring part of the Independence Day celebrations.
The success of the program reflected the commitment of SciVerse to encourage students’ intellectual growth and to nurture a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
