Health Check-up Camp
A Health Check-up Camp was organized at Adi Sankara Training College, Kalady on 19th August 2025 by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with NSS Unit 244. The camp was conducted in the Seminar Hall from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The objective of the camp was to promote the importance of health awareness and early detection of lifestyle diseases. A team of health professionals carried out various tests such as body fat, visceral fat, bone mass, protein, metabolic age, and BMI analysis. The camp attracted a large number of students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff, who actively participated and availed themselves of the free health check-up services.
The medical experts also shared valuable guidance on healthy lifestyle practices, balanced diet, and preventive care. The participants found the session highly beneficial as it encouraged them to monitor their health regularly.
The camp concluded successfully with positive feedback from everyone. The efforts of IQAC and NSS Unit 244 were highly appreciated for organizing such a meaningful and service-oriented programme.
