The Tourism Club of Adisankara Training College, Kalady organized a Local Visit – “Knowing In and Around” on 27th August 2025. The programme started at 9:30 am from the college campus (ASTC, Kalady).
As part of the visit, students along with teachers went to the Sreerama Krishna Mission Ashram, where they were blessed with an inspiring talk by Swamiji. His words motivated the students to cultivate discipline, service-mindedness, and spiritual values in their daily lives. The peaceful atmosphere of the Ashram added to the enriching experience.
The group then visited the Sringeri Madam, a place of cultural and spiritual significance. The students and teachers were warmly welcomed, and as a gesture of hospitality, Payasam was distributed to all.
The programme gave the students an opportunity to understand the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the region. It was a memorable and enlightening experience, fulfilling the objective of the Tourism Club to make students aware of the cultural treasures “in and around” their locality.
