Gandhi Jayanthi Quiz Competition
The Commerce Club Esprit De Corps of Adi Sankara Training College, Kalady, organized a Gandhi Jayanthi Quiz Competition in connection with the celebration of Gandhi Jayanthi. The programme was conducted on 2nd October at 10:00 a.m. in the college premises.
The event aimed to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of our Nation, and to instill in students the values of truth, non-violence, and patriotism. The quiz competition focused on the life, principles, and contributions of Mahatma Gandhi to India’s freedom struggle.
Student teachers from various optional subjects enthusiastically participated in the competition. The participants showcased their knowledge and competitive spirit throughout the event. The quiz was conducted in multiple rounds, including rapid-fire and visual identification rounds, making it both educational and engaging.
The programme was well-coordinated by the members of the Commerce Club under the guidance of the faculty advisors. The winners were appreciated and awarded certificates of merit. The event successfully promoted Gandhian ideals among the student teachers and created a sense of reverence for the values Gandhi stood for.
