SHORT FILM WORKSHOP
The Short Film Workshop organized by Adi Sankara Training College, Kalady was successfully conducted on 3rd December at the College Auditorium. The event aimed to provide students with an overview of short film and documentary making, thereby enriching their creative and technical skills in visual media.
The session was led by Mr. Abhilash P. H, a reputed short film consequent award winner, whose expertise and experience added great value to the workshop. He shared deep insights into the different stages of film production including concept development, scripting, cinematography, direction, editing, and post-production techniques. He also interacted with the participants by sharing his journey and showcasing examples from his own award-winning short films.
The workshop began at 11:00 AM with an enthusiastic response from the students. Participants were highly engaged throughout the session and raised thoughtful questions regarding opportunities in the field of film-making, modern filming tools, and the scope of documentaries in social awareness. The practical tips and motivation provided by the resource person encouraged many students to explore their creative potential in media production.
