Induction on NAAC accreditation guide lines







 NAAC Orientation Programme

      The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Adi Sankara Training College, Kalady, organized a NAAC Orientation Programme on 6th July 2025 in the college auditorium. The session aimed to create awareness among student-teachers and faculty about the objectives, criteria, and importance of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) process in higher education institutions.
      The resource person for the programme was Dr. K. S. Sajan, Assistant Professor, NSS Training College, Ottapalam, who is an expert in quality assurance practices in teacher education. In his presentation, Dr. Sajan elaborated on the relevance of NAAC accreditation in enhancing institutional quality, the role of teachers and students in maintaining standards, and the significance of continuous self-evaluation.
      He further explained the different NAAC criteria including curricular aspects, teaching-learning and evaluation, research, innovations, extension activities, infrastructure, and best practices. The interactive nature of the session encouraged participants to ask questions and share their perspectives on quality improvement in educational institutions.
       The programme proved to be highly beneficial for the teaching community, as it provided valuable insights into how to align academic practices with NAAC standards. The orientation inspired the participants to contribute actively towards the holistic development and quality enhancement of the college.
       The event concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating Dr. K. S. Sajan for his informative session and the IQAC team for successfully organizing the programme.
