The KTET Orientation Programme was conducted at Adi Sankara Training College, Kalady, on 19th November 2025. The session was organised in collaboration with Competitive Cracker to provide guidance and awareness to teacher education students regarding the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET).
The programme began at 11:00 AM in the college auditorium. The event commenced with a welcome address delivered by the Vice Principal,Mrs Praseeda V who warmly greeted the resource person, faculty members, and students. In her address, she highlighted the importance of KTET for aspiring teachers and stressed the need for systematic preparation and updated knowledge in the field of education.
The resource person for the session was Mrs. Sreekala Sreerenj, an expert trainer associated with Competitive Cracker. Her session provided detailed insights into KTET categories, examination pattern, syllabus coverage, preparation strategies, and time management techniques. She also familiarized students with the learning resources available through the Competitive Cracker e-learning application.
Faculty members and students actively participated in the orientation session. The presentation displayed on the digital screen further enhanced understanding by giving a clear outline of the topics discussed. The session proved highly informative and motivating for the prospective teacher trainees.
The programme concluded with an interactive discussion, during which students clarified their doubts regarding KTET preparation. The orientation was a valuable initiative that encouraged learners to approach the examination with confidence and clarity.
