STUDY TOUR REPORT: “SIKOVPI IN GOA” 2023-24
I. Introduction
The “Sikovpi in Goa” study tour was a meticulously planned educational and recreational journey aimed at fostering camaraderie, relaxation, and experiential learning among participants. The event brought together a large group of students, supported by faculty escorts, organized into specific teams for efficient management. The tour took place from November 19 to November 23.
II. Itinerary Overview
Day 1 – November 19
● Departure from college in 11.30 am by train
● Arrival in manglore railway station at 9 pm
● Bordered a bus to dendeli and reached there by early morning
The trip aimed to provide students with an opportunity to explore nature ,engage in adventure activities and promote team bonding outside academic environment.
Accommodation was arranged in a well-equipped resort surrenderd by dense forest and natural beauty. A thrilling river rafting session in the Kali river was the highlight of the trip, followed by the activities like zip-lining, Kayaking and camp fire evenings that encourage team spirit and adventure.
Day 2 – November 20
A trip also included a nature walk guided by local experts to educate the students about the ecological importance of the area. Bordered the bus to Goa after breakfast and reached Goa by 3 pm
● Sightseeing: Historic forts and churches
● Lunch at a local Goan restaurant
● Beach activities and sunset view
● Evening group games and reflection
Day 3 – November 21
● Visited Agoda fort in the morning
● Adventure water sports at Baga/Calangute
● Visit to flea markets and cultural sites
● Night cruise experience
Day 4 – November 22
• Returning to Manglore from Goa in bus ‘
• Early morning boarded the train to return to collage
III. Organizational Structure

V. Highlights and Experiences
● Cultural Immersion: Students experienced the vibrant heritage of Goa through visits to churches, forts, and beaches.
● Adventure: Water sports and cruise rides created unforgettable memories.
● Team Bonding: Group games, music nights, and bonfires enhanced interpersonal connections.
● Logistics & Safety: Efficient committee coordination ensured safety, punctuality, and medical readiness throughout.
● Documentation: The photography and media team captured highlights for documentation and future presentation.
